Don’t miss out. See you in Cardiff!
Wow, what a frantic few weeks. Forgive the silence, but I’ve been full on with all the arrangements for Sunday. The good news is that we’re in great shape and you can be sure of a terrific competition. Our riders are really up for it and I know it’s going to be an intense battle for first place. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, it’s not too late, but you’ll need to get them in person from the ticket office – just click on the ‘Buy tickets” link on our home page for details. Don’t miss out. See you in Cardiff!

I have now discovered what happens if you put your brain in a microwave! There is action now on every front, I think that it is all now down to detail, but have we got time to cross all the 't's?
We had a really good meeting with BETA yesterday, I am really excited about developing this partnership going forward. We will be working with them to deliver a trade stand area at Cardiff this year. Looking forward I am sure that together we can do some really exciting things promoting British Trade abroad and at home.
The trade area at Cardiff will be on the lower tier so that stall holders will be able to see the action from their stands! It will be a bit like being around the main arena at a big show! Plus when shopping you will be able to keep an eye on the action. We look forward to some great stands and we are even looking at a Christmas market to do your shopping!
Next week I have Pierre Michelet and Di Boddy coming over again to have a final plan for the course. It will be critical that we get this 100% right as we have such a short time to put it all in. I really look forward to seeing it laid out. before they come I will have to do a lot of painting!
This weekend we have a stand at Your Horse Live, do come an visit us and see the new MUSTO outfits. we will also have some merchandise on display. There will also be a chance for you to buy tickets on the stand, I think there will be some great deals to be had.....do pop in to see all the news. I think that I have been summoned to help on the stand on Saturday, I look forward to telling people about this event.

I seem to have run out of time to add last week. With all the excitement around it is difficult to find time to add to this blog. I spent two days at Cardiff sorting through TV and logistics. I have had the first draft of the story board through for the titles of the TV programme. It certainly looks the part, very up to date and carries through the great colours of the logo.
This week looks to be painting week for all the jumps. The rain is not helping much, but we will get them all under cover and set about a mass paint. We have built the podiums for the judges, so now need to sort logos etc for them.
It was very exciting to announce that Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Arlene Phillips are to come and help with the judging of the dressage. They will certainly bring a new element to the judging, Andrew with his musical background and Arlene with her dancing credentials and her thoughts on the choreography.
Lots more press to announce in the coming weeks, keep your ears and eyes on the web site so that you stay abreast with all the announcements!
